I've been wearing size 9 shoes for years, just for the width fitting, and I always had problems to find a shoe that was comfortable up to a point. With changing different insoles to get some degree of comfort.
When I was at the chiropodists, I picked up a Wider Fit Shoes catalogue and I measured my feet at size 8. Which surprised me as I thought my feet were size 8 and a half.
The shoes I had ordered fitted lovely and all round they are good quality and, after 4 to 5 weeks of wearing they are still great. 5 stars all round.

A very comfortable trainer. As its winter I bought a size larger so I can comfortably wear thick winter socks. I could never do this with shop bought trainers which are always far to narrow even though I had to get size 10 or 11 to get the width, and they still split quickly. These however are a perfect width. Slightly loose on the heel, but I do have narrow heels! My second pair of DB shoes and I have since bought a size 7 trainer to use with normal cotton socks.

I bought these to replace a blue pair ordered previously which were a disaster. Initially I was very pleased with the comfort but within 3 weeks, the paper thin sole was beginning to wear off. After 8 weeks the sole of the right trainer had completely worn away and left the inner honeycomb structure exposed. Considering the wearer is 77 years old and has Parkinson's, so is not very mobile, this is very poor performance and certainly no value for money whatsoever. I sent a photo of the trainers to Customer Services but received no response. I hope the black pair perform better!
