Would be useful if there was something to stop the strap completely falling out of its loop when taking on and off as can be a little fiddly to thread it back in when this accidentally happens.The less dexterous may need help sometimes. Hopefully the strap will fold into shape and stay put after a bit more wear. Nice summer sandals.

Expensive but attractive and comfortable. The elasticated connections between the top and side of the shoe are a little disconcerting at first as there was a little more ease than am used to, but I soon got used to it and delighted in the cool comfort.
I liked having the instep partially covered as other more open sandals from previous years exposed my (very high) instep to sun burn.
My chief joy was in having a strap just long enough to go over my high instep in comfort without having acres of velcro showing. I bought 6v-8e width fitting and needed every centimetre of the strap, and would maybe have liked a couple of cm more, but for those whose instep is not as high you can easily shorten the strap.
All in all, expensive comfort!

I bought these sandals in a wider fitting than usual as I had been having problems with swollen ankles. They were so comfortable and could easily be altered as my feet began to swell during the day. The sole is hardwearing so should last a long time. The leather uppers are so soft and with the stretch inserts give when you walk so no problems with rubbing. As I bought these sandals in the sale they were excellent value for money. I shall be ordering them again in another colour.

My usual shoe size was 6 but I'd been struggling for a while finding a wider fit shoe to accommodate my flat, wide feet!
Use of the guide put me at a size 5 6V, being 'me' I ordered a size 6, 6V and subsequently returned them for their accurately calculated Size 5, 6V!!
The shoes are well made, comfortable and have been soaked by some unexpected rain and faired absolutely fine, although they are more than I'd usually pay for shoes they are worth every penny. My only advise to anyone is to believe the shoe size guide!!! Thanks, Caroline
