I bouht them as I cannot find any shoes I can wear, and was hoping socks would solve the problem.

This is the third pair of this style that I have bought as I find them to be ideal summer shoes. Then in the winter months they are my indoor slipper/shoes. So I get good use and wear out of them.
The fit is good except that I do have problems with the strap. It needs to be a little longer in order to provide better adjustment - especially if feet become a little swollen. I have to add extra Velcro to the end of the straps (not easy with arthritic fingers!) to give greater adjustment and ensure a more secure fastening.

There was stiffening at the heel but nowhere else. Having said that, I did find it very comfortable for short walks.. I had to return this item as although the shoes fitted well, once I had removed the additional insole, the straps were not long enough. Even though they are attached by elastic to the shoes giving some leeway in length, for anyone with badly swollen ankles and feet, or with one foot (as in my case) or both feet made even bigger as a result of having cellulitis, extra tabs to lengthen the straps would have been helpful - except that Wider Fit Shoes does not make them for this design, which I feel is a great mistake. Therefore I had to return them for a refund.

I like the colour which will go nicely with casual skirts and they are comfortable. Two comments I would make--the straps are not long enough to cover all of the velcro, having to wear thick orthotic insoles means that my foot is higher in the shoe and a a longer strap is needed. When I undo the straps they fall on the floor because they are not sewn to the top of the side of the shoe.

The shoes are comfortable and wide as you might expect. They are casual, but still smart. The only drawback from my point of view (I have rheumatoid arthritis) is the press-stud fasteners. These require quite a heavy pressure, to fasten, and would be better suited with a Velcro or similar attachment.
